  • Park Size: 587 hectares
  • Total # Campsites: 34 vehicle accessible campsites, including 4 double sites

  • First Come First Serve Sites: Yes, all individual campsites
  • Campsite Description: Sites are rustic and natural to offer an old-fashioned camping experience. The medium sized sites are well spaced and set in a thick forest of Douglas fir, larch, cedar and lodgepole pine that offer shade and contribute to privacy. Picnic table and fire ring available on each individual site.
  • Overflow Camping: Yes, in designated area. (full fees apply)

  • Firewood Available: Yes, may be purchased from staff for $7 / portion
  • Groupsites: Yes, two groupsites which hold a maximum of 10 parties in each. The Lower groupsite is the most popular as is located just above the lake with a private stairway to the sandy beach below. The Upper groupsite is very large and private. Both groupsites have picnic tables and own fire ring.
  • Interpretive Program: No

  • Pets Allowed: Yes, on a leash at all times & in designated “Pet Beach” area.
  • Roadways: gravel
  • Beach / Swimming Area: Yes, NOTE: No lifeguards on Duty
  • Hiking Trails: Yes, to waterfalls and along lake
  • Boat Launch: Yes, (boats that exceed 10 hp are not permitted on the lake)
  • Biking: Yes, on roadways only (Dirt Bikes/ATV’s not permitted)
  • Check-In Time: 1 pm
  • Check-Out Time: 11 am (strictly enforced during peak times)
  • Check-in Procedure: Locate & occupy unoccupied campsite. Park Attendant will register guests in the evenings. Groups proceed to groupsites areas.
  • On Site Security: Yes
  • Entrance Gate: Locked nightly from 11 pm to 7 am
  • Quiet Time: 10 pm to 7 am
  • Generator Policy: 10 PM – 7 AM – NO GENERATOR USE
                                10 AM – 2 PM – Generator use may occur for no more than 4 hrs maximum
                                7 AM – 10 AM & 2PM – 10 PM – Generator use for no more than 30 minutes
  • Visitor Parking: Yes, but limited space at campsite. No parking permitted on grass or roadways.
  • Payphone: No, nearest service is Rock Creek

Camping & Other Park Act Fees:

  • $15.00 per party per night (includes 1 vehicle or RV)
  • $7.50 BC Senior couple discount (after Labour Day to June 14 only)
  • $7.50 per Additional Vehicle per night

All Reservations must be paid per MasterCard or Visa Credit Card

First come first serve Camping and all Additional Vehicle Fees MUST pay with CASH and/or Traveller’s Cheques. Debit & Credit Cards and Personal Cheques are NOT accepted.
